2D Animation

 POST 6: POSTGRADUATE STUDIES


I have always been interested in animation, specifically 2D Animation, I would love to take that kind of courses, the main reason is that I love drawing and I've always thought about seeing my art moving. It would be a dream come true for me if it all works out well. 

For me it might be a good idea to study background composition and character design, i have an original character that would be perfect for an animated short-film im thinking of making in the future. This character is named "Pupo", he is
like my "alter-ego", he represents my inner world and thoughts that i don't usually show to people in real life.



I would definitely study here in Chile and if I have the chance to do it abroad, i would also be interested in that opportunity. I think Canada or EEUU would be nice places to do it.

I would like to study 2D Animation as a part-time course, I'm interested in working at a part-time job to gain some money to pay for my Animation postgraduate. Postgraduates here in Chile are really expensive at least for me and my mom's wallet, she helps me a lot economically, not because I ask her for money but because she loves to help me get the things that can enrich my knowledge.


One of my favorite animated shows aired on cartoon network a long time ago, it was Courage The Cowardly Dog, I loved that show. Now I watch The Amazing World of Gumball, it's the funniest show I  ever watched (and it's absolutely not made for children haha, even if it's airing on a children's channel, it has really dark jokes and adult oriented content)

POST 5: MY FUTURE JOB I’m considering to work as a children’s book illustrator at a publishing house, I’m not 100% sure, but I’d also love to make personalized toys for children. It is my dream job to make handmade colorful toys.   It would probably be indoors, I don’t enjoy being outside and working that way could affect my performance at my future job.   If I were given the opportunity I would love to travel a lot and do different studies about my area of knowledge. I think Japan is the place I would love to visit for working matters, I love Japanese children’s books, they stand out from what we have here in the West.   I’m torn between working for a big toys company or doing freelance jobs, both have pros and cons, so time and experience will tell me which one is the best option for my needs and capabilities.   I’m nervous just thinking about majoring in something…I think I would take a major in editorial design in addition to my graphic design career as a plus, I have to work for t

A Dreamy Place

  POST 2: THE BEST HOLIDAYS I'VE HAD A warm experience through a really cold place! Almost 3 years ago I went to Puerto Natales, it was one of my favorite Holiday trips ever, I stayed there for 11 days with my mom and sister.    The first place we visited there was Torres del Paine and I can’t describe how incredible that experience was for me, spiritually and mentally. I was flabbergasted with such beauty and I’ll absolutely visit them again. Here are some beautiful pictures I took: Torres del Paine in different angles We also took long walks through the city of Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas and of course we ate a lot of pizza there (something that I found funny was that pizzas in the south of Chile are one hundred percent made of cheese and I’m a cheese enthusiast, so I was definitely happy haha)   Another trip I absolutely enjoyed when I went to Puerto Natales was going to Tierra del Fuego, unforgettable…I would love to live there when I get older. A Little Girl's Dream

A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW   HELLO JAPAN!   One of my dreams is to visit Japan, I’ve been really interested in Japanese culture for a long time and everyday I’m closer to fulfill this childhood dream.   I have close friends that visited this country and I’ve been recollecting data from their experiences. They’ve told me that it’s pretty difficult as a foreigner to maintain a fluid conversation with Japanese people, they recommended me to search images on Google of the places in Japan that I would like to visit so I can ask for directions on where to go.   I also know a whole lot of Japanese people's love for “kawaii” or cute stuff, such as anime and the famous international sensation: Hello Kitty.   According to what I mentioned before, the first thing I would do there is to buy a ticket to go to “Sanrio Puroland”  a Japanese theme park also known as  “Hello Kitty Land” . My goal is to save as much money as I can to buy Hello Kitty merchandise for my big Sanrio collection.   It
